With great humility and a deep sense of responsibility, I step into this role as the Director of IMA Himmatnagar. It is an honor to continue the legacy of this esteemed association, which has long been dedicated to the well-being of both the medical fraternity and society at large. Our predecessors have worked tirelessly to uplift healthcare standards, and I assure you that we will remain committed to this noble mission.

This year, we have set ambitious goals to make a significant impact. One of our key initiatives is the Lifesaver Campaign, where we aim to train school students in CPR techniques. In collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, we will equip students from 9th to 12th grade with life-saving skills through hands-on training sessions. Our goal is to cover hundreds of schools and thousands of students, ensuring that they are prepared to act in emergencies.

For our medical students, we are launching a dedicated faculty mentoring program to support MBBS and postgraduate students. This initiative will help them excel in their academic journey and prepare effectively for competitive examinations.

In alignment with the Government of India’s vision, we are committed to working towards a TB-Free India by 2025. Various awareness and prevention programs have been planned, and we seek the collective support of the entire medical community to achieve this goal. Let us come together to eliminate tuberculosis and build a healthier future.

Another important initiative we continue is the Village Healthcare Program, inspired by our visionary leaders. Our teams will actively engage with rural communities to provide medical assistance, conduct health check-ups, and raise awareness about preventive care.

Organ donation awareness will be a major focus this year. We have already organized successful events with esteemed dignitaries and organizations, and we will continue conducting similar awareness programs across the city.

Beyond medical initiatives, we are dedicated to social causes, including supporting old age homes, organizing blood donation camps, mental health awareness programs, and promoting the empowerment of women and the girl child. Strengthening our bond with society is a key priority, and we will actively engage in initiatives that serve those in need.

For continuous medical education, we have curated a series of CME programs in collaboration with leading specialists. These sessions will provide valuable insights into the latest advancements in medicine, ensuring that our members stay updated with evolving healthcare trends.

Additionally, we will continue fostering a sense of unity within the fraternity through cultural and sports events. A grand medical sports meet and cultural celebrations are in the pipeline, encouraging members to participate and rejuvenate beyond their professional commitments.

Our monthly bulletin will be enriched with informative articles spanning medical, financial, and social topics, offering diverse learning opportunities for our members.

Above all, IMA Himmatnagar is dedicated to public health initiatives. From vaccination awareness to disease prevention and nutrition education, we will actively contribute to every effort aimed at enhancing community health.
